Questions
Will my SACCO, bank or landlord accept it?
Most already accept M-PESA statements; the summary makes yours quick to read and lets them check the figures online with the code on the page. Each lender decides for itself, so ask them, or send them to the “For lenders” page.
Who can see my statement?
No one. The PDF is read once and discarded. The transactions pulled from it are encrypted with a key that only exists in your report link. Everything is deleted 24 hours after upload (30 days once you’ve paid), or straight away when you press Delete.
What are the statement checks?
We check that every balance follows from the one before (missing pages or edits break that), and whether the PDF carries a valid digital signature. The results are printed on the summary.
I can’t find the password
It arrives by SMS from M-PESA shortly after you request the statement. Some older statements use your ID number instead.
How do I pay?
Enter your M-PESA number and you get the usual payment prompt on your phone. Enter your PIN and the summary opens. Payments go through Paystack; a card works too.
